It Runs In The Family

Occasionally you come across a play that when you see it you think
this is as good as it gets. It Runs In The Family is such a play.

All it takes is one unexpected problem and one little lie for Dr
Mortimer’s world to be thrown into crisis. When his ex-girlfriend
arrives minutes before Mortimer is to deliver the annual Ponsonby
Lecture, she reveals they have an eighteen year old son. All Dr
Mortimer needs to do is keep his son out of the way until after his
lecture. This can’t happen of course, and very soon his son, his wife,
the head consultant, the Matron and a police sergeant are rampaging
through the doctors’ common room. Fortunately Dr Bonney and Dr
Connolly are on hand to help out… or make things worse.
